This 14×6.5 copper free‑floating snare drum is built for drummers who want a powerful, articulate, and richly musical snare with exceptional projection and sensitivity. The precision‑made copper shell delivers a commanding voice — dark, punchy, and full of character — while the free‑floating design allows the metal to resonate with maximum freedom.

Copper is renowned for its unique tonal blend: warmer and rounder than brass, yet more complex and harmonically rich than steel. The deeper 6.5″ shell adds body, low‑end weight, and explosive punch, making this snare a versatile choice for studio work, live performance, and players who demand both finesse and authority.

A protective snare drum case is included for safe transport to rehearsals, sessions, and gigs.

Free-Floating Design for Maximum Articulation

The free‑floating system allows the copper shell to vibrate without hardware restricting its movement. This unlocks the full tonal potential of the metal, producing a snare that is open, resonant, and incredibly responsive across all dynamic ranges.

Key benefits include:

• Open, powerful resonance with rich harmonic complexity
• Reduced choking and cleaner, more controlled overtones
• Faster, more stable tuning
• Enhanced sensitivity for ghost notes and nuanced playing
• Explosive rimshot response with deep, authoritative punch
