No equalisation, but harmonisation

The fear of equalisation of the heads is not supported by the fact that this is a tried and tested system by Z Drums. The top and bottom heads are now responding better to each other, and the tension and tone are now harmonised between the two. This results in a better overall tone, tuning and response of the snare as it should, while giving a stable sound at the same time
